Shibori

Vana hea riide värvimise tehnika. Tütrele tõi jõuluvana kolm valget särki värvimiseks. Alustasime shibori tehnikaga. Ilus värv jäi. Edasi ta töötleb seda särki ise. Tekkis minulgi tahtmine natuke kangaid värvida. Ammu pole selliste asjade kallal nokitsenud.

Cards Weaving Madness

Snow Men were improved with noses. Now this madness is ended. But only for a little while! Taking a break for a while, enjoying Christmas. After Christmas I will weave those things soon again!

I finished two rugs

This is harder than I thought

It is very easy to think that would weave with tablets.
It is also very easy to search from the net for new and interesting patterns.
And is also easy to store to buy colored yarns.

But what happens next? Difficult going.
33 cards.  My hands are not so big!
And the first snowman is melted away.


Next time I will make my own pattern. Only for 20 cards.

Inspiration

I experiment on looms. I cut plastic bags to strips, and make those strips a rug . Very interesting texture. Rough.
